College accreditation
海角破解版 is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) on behalf of the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and professional development programs.
Background
The AMC and MCNZ closely monitor College processes and activities to ensure they align with required accreditation standards. 海角破解版 submits yearly reports of our activities against these standards and undertakes a formal re-accreditation process every 10 years. 海角破解版 is currently accredited until 31 March 2030.
Information about the standards which all specialist medical colleges are assessed, as well as the accreditation process more generally, is available on the AMC website.
10-year College reaccreditation
The AMC and MCNZ performed a formal multi-stage assessment of 海角破解版 in 2023, as part of its routine 10-year accreditation cycle. The College submitted a formal written evidence document on 1 May 2023 for AMC and MCNZ representatives to review.
Stakeholder consultation, site visits, examination observations and meetings with key 海角破解版 representatives took place between March-July 2023.
The AMC and MCNZ made decisions and quality improvement recommendations regarding our going accreditation beyond March 2024. The findings from this assessment is outlined in the Accreditation and CPD Homes reports.
The College has been granted the full six years accreditation, until 31 March 2030, with the opportunity to apply for an extension of an additional four years’ accreditation in 2029.
Annual progress reports
As part of ongoing accreditation requirements, 海角破解版 is required to submit regular progress reports, detailing significant developments and providing updates and data in relation to the AMC and MCNZ standards.
A progress report was not required in 2020 due to the satisfactory outcomes of the 2019 comprehensive report.
2019 extension of accreditation
At its meeting in November 2019, the AMC resolved to grant an extension of the accreditation of the 海角破解版 training and education programs and the continuing professional development programs in the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology by four years to 31 March 2024.
At its meeting on 11 and 12 February 2020, the MCNZ decided to extend the 海角破解版鈥檚 accreditation for the remaining balance of its accreditation period (until 31 March 2024) in line with the AMC.
*The report covers the period September 2018 through to the end of August 2019.
